Brexit dominates new Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s opening statement at the House of Commons

Today Boris Johnson gave his opening statement as the new Prime Minister of the UK. Again Boris Johnson stated that funding will be made available to the NHS and funding will go to the NHS front line services, he also stated that 20 hospitals will be upgraded.

However the agenda of debate at the House Commons soon turned to foreign affairs and Brexit. Over the past few weeks we have been talking about the possible negative affects Brexit has been having on the health and social care sector in the UK filtering down to Wales and Cardiff.

We have 98 days until October 31st, the date extended to the UK and deadline to leave the EU. These 98 days will be interesting days ahead but we can all only hope that a deal can be reached or know whether it is going to be a no-deal outcome, whichever the outcome we are here to tell you that ProCare Nursing will always continue to improve care standards from our own agency.
